Abstarct:
In this talk, I will describe how reaction path calculations can be used to quantitatively and qualitatively investigate complex processes in molecular biophysics. I will briefly mention how the calculations are conducted and move on to describe a series of examples. I will consider charge transport across membranes, the enzymatic reaction of HIV reverse transcriptase, early events in the function of the anthrax toxin, and PIP2 binding to TRPV5.
