The extended curriculum of Physics and Electrical Engineering is run jointly by the School of Physics and Astronomy and the Electrical Engineering Department of the Engineering Faculty. The purpose of this integration is to train the future researchers and engineers, who will take a significant role both in future scientific research and in the development and leadership of the High-tech industry in Israel. The duration of the studies is 4 years, by the end of which the under-graduates will receive a B.Sc. diploma in Physics and Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Students who wish to acquire a double B.Sc. Diploma (B.Sc. In Physics and B. Sc. In Electrical Engineering), will be required to add another 12 credit-hours from both faculties. This doubled-diploma extra hours will be available to students who submit an application from their 3rd semester onwards.
