How to apply for a Postdoctoral Fellowship

Application for  a postdoctoral fellowship is made in collaboration with the intended academic host at TAU and should include the documents below:

 

  • Certification that the candidate is entitled to a PhD, noting the date the degree was awarded  or a letter attesting to the submission of a PhD thesis for review

  • A letter from the head researcher at Tel Aviv University willing to advise the fellow stating the fellowship starting date (by the host)

  • Three letters of recommendation: one from the Ph.D. advisor, and one from a researcher not from the university where the candidate completed his Ph.D.

  • A short description (1-2 pages) of the fellowship program

  • A current CV and list of publications

  • The attached form for funding (by the host)

  • A scan of the applicant’s passport or passport number

 

These will be forwarded to the Coordinator for Post-doctoral Fellows for approval by the Head of the School of Physics and Astronomy, Prof. Yoram Dagan.

 

The full application will be forwarded to the University Committee for Post –Doctoral fellows for discussion and  final approval.
