Particle physics after the discovery of the Higgs boson
Abstract:
The discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC last summer is a major milestone for particle physics. I will explain the significance of this discovery for our understanding of particle physics, and discuss the implications of this discovery (together with the other LHC results) for what might lie beyond the standard model.
