Research

  • Thermally Stimulated Luminescence (TSL) - Kinetics, simulations using numerical solution of the relevant sets of simultaneous differential equations.

  • Optically Stimulated Luminescence - Kinetics, simulations using numerical solution of the relevant sets of simultaneous differential equations.

  • Evaluation of trapping parameters in TSL and OSL - development of methods for determining the activation energy and other relevant parameters.

  • Dependence of luminescence on irradiation dose - Theoretical study of different dose dependencies: linear, sublinear and superlinear; the relation to dosimetry and to dating in archaeology and geology.
