Prof. Noam Shomron, Edmond J. Safra member (Medicine) was elected as the academic director of the Djerassi Institute of Oncology at TAU.
This institute is an umbrella organization for cancer researchers and physicians from TAU and affiliated medical centers studying the disease and treating cancer patients. By creating scientific interaction and collaboration between academic groups and clinical researchers, the Institute aims to improve diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and a cure for cancer.
