July 2020: Seven Edmond J. Safra researchers awarded ISF grants

Edmond J. Safra members and affiliates Profs. Karen Avraham, Carmit Levy (Medicine), Joel Hirsch (Life Sciences),  Saharon Rosset (Statistics), Tamir Tuller (Engineering), and Dr. Tzachi Hagai (Life Sciences) - were all awarded research grants from the Israel Science Foundation (ISF) in the 2020-2021 grants cycle.

 

Dr. Tzachi Hagai won two ISF grants, a personal research grant and an equipment grant for a new faculty member.

Prof. Carmit Levy won two ISF grants, a personal research grant and a grant for a research program focusing on stopping the corona virus SARS-CoV2.

 

In addition, Prof. Oded Rechavi  (Life Sciences) won an ISF grant for conducting a research workshop.
 
 

The ISF is the main body supporting basic science research in Israel, through a wide variety of funding mechanisms and in a variety of fields of knowledge. The support is based on scientific excellence.
