Abstract:

I will start with the general introduction to the few-layer Ising superconductors, listing some basic experimental observations.

Next, I will focus on the enhanced parallel critical field and review the reasoning behind it. I then discuss how different triplet correlations emerge in the same context of an unusually stable superconducting state.     I will highlight the special role played by spin-orbit splitting. Then I will present symmetry constrained free energy functional controlling the competition and interplay of singlet and triplet(s) order parameters. The resulting phase diagram will be shown next. I then discuss how the tunnelling data may serve as an indication (or lack) of triplet correlations.
